The verdict

Labelled omni but roasted much closer to the espresso end — very dark, giving it a smokey taste. Lacked the acidity and the smooth finish I like, though it grew on me over time. Rated 2. No roast date printed on the bag — not acceptable for a specialty roaster; roast date matters (you want to be drinking within 2-3 weeks of roast).

What the roaster says

Blueberry Cheesecake is a bold, aromatic coffee from Yinghui in Menglian Dai, Yunnan, China. Grown in high elevations with rich soils and a tropical climate, it develops deep sweetness and complexity. Processed using a wine natural method and slow sun-dried with the fruit intact, it delivers an expressive cup with rich sweetness and dessert-like character.
